Excerpt from letter to Pres. Stapley:

^...Tonight we have 3 Noches de Hogar lined up, 2 of which are teaching investigators in the homes of members and the other will have a member present. The members here are terrific, and their influence on their neighborhoods is tremendous. We have found some wonderful people to teach who received us initially because of some friend or acquaintance who is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It has greatly strengthened my testimony of the importance of doing the Lord{s work in the home. I love sections 14-16 of the Doctrine and Covenants. There the Lord explains that the thing that will be of most worth to my soul, your soul, anyone{s soul will be to cry repentance. As usual, the home is the place to begin with that. There a person can refine their ability to cry repentance with ^love unfeigned^ and the other characteristics described in DyC121. On the mission, I know that the relationship between me and my companion is very important, in our little pension-home. Fortunately I have the best companion in the world. Makes it kinda nice! She and I have made some very important goals together, and we{re really working on each of the mission focuses and values. Thank you for your counsel and for help...^

So yeah! With the arrival of the new President came the new mission focuses and values. They're lovely!
